Getty Conservation Institute Technical Series – MFT
We partnered with the Getty Conservation Institute to create a second animated video demonstrating their interesting Microfading Tester (MFT), which can determine an individual artwork's sensitivity to light without visible damage to the artwork, aiding conservation efforts.
Challenges:
Communicating complex scientific content clearly and engagingly required close collaboration with experts to balance artistic expression with scientific accuracy.
Outcome:
The video became part of GCI’s educational toolkit, raising awareness of MFT’s potential to transform preventive conservation practices.
This project marks the beginning of an ongoing collaboration to develop a series of animated videos that showcase cutting-edge conservation techniques.
